Hi, I'm Sydni — and I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a Mesa-based family photographer who believes the best photos happen when everyone forgets the camera is there. I chase golden light, real laughs, and the quiet in-between moments that make your family uniquely yours.
My story
How I fell in love with this work.
I picked up my first camera as a kid. I had this stupid little battery powered toy, it took some interesting photos. I practiced getting the framing right for years. I finally took a photography class in high school.
I realized that a photograph isn't just a picture. It's a time machine. It's the way your daughter's nose scrunches when she laughs, the way your husband looks at you when he thinks no one is watching, the way your toddler runs with his whole body. These are the things that slip away so fast — and I get to be the person who holds onto them for you.
I've been photographing families in Mesa and the East Valley for over ten years now. Every session still gives me butterflies. I don't think that ever goes away — and honestly, I hope it doesn't.
My approach
Relaxed, unhurried, and always real.
Golden-hour obsessed
I schedule most sessions in the last 60–90 minutes of daylight. That warm, buttery light does things no editing can replicate — and it makes everyone look incredible.
Connection over perfection
I'm not interested in stiff poses and forced smiles. I want to capture the way your family actually feels — the chaos, the tenderness, the joy. That's what you'll want to look at in 20 years.
Guided but never rigid
I'll give you just enough direction to feel comfortable, then step back and let things unfold naturally. My job is to be invisible until the perfect moment — then be ready.
East Valley roots
I know every beautiful corner of Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and the surrounding area. I'll help you find a location that fits your family's vibe — whether that's a desert wash, a lush park, or your own backyard.

When I'm not behind the camera...
- I'm a mom to three wild, wonderful kids who are absolutely my favorite subjects.
- My husband and I love to go on outdoor adventures with the kids, and I usually bring my camera.
- I'm obsessed with lemonade, its a problem.
- I love to hike or go on a good road trip with my family.
