About Us

I am so happy you're here

Professional photographer in a blue striped shirt laughing while holding a camera against white background.

I have always loved photography. Funny thing is I used to hate photographing people. Then over time, I grew to love it, especially after having my own kids. I love capturing everyday moments you won't ever get to experience again. Family photos are so important to be able to preserve the good memories we have. My late grandmother always had her photos printed, and created many scrapbooks full of photos of my cousins and I. Anytime we visit, we look back fondly on the good old days.

More About Sydni

Photographer poses with camera in studio wearing blue striped shirt and black shorts.

I started photography back in high school, it was always something that interested me, but that is when I got serious about it, I also took some college photography classes as well. I loved landscape photos, and wanted to be a national geographic photographer for a while, but I have fallen in love with taking photos of families. I know way too many families that this is all they had left when a family member passed. I stopped photography for a few years in 2020 when I had my first baby, but now that all my kids are starting preschool soon, I am excited to get back into the swing of things!

I have 3 kids, Sawyer, age 5, William, age 3, and Levi, age 3. Yes, William and Levi are twins, it was definitely a shock as neither of our families had twins. Having twins has taught me a ton, and I have learned some tips and tricks with kids  over the past 5 years. I am also currently working on my degree in child psychology, I eventually want to be a child psychotherapist. They've made good subjects to practice with, at least some of the time. I met my husband Trevor while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we met in 2015, and got married in 2017. I am a former school teacher so working with kids has always been something that comes easily to me. I always say if I can make my own kids smile, I can get almost any kid to smile.
